District Leather Supply Magnetic Tack Hammer Tools

I used to smash the heck out of my fingers when hammering tacks with lasting pincers.  It saved my fingers and my sanity when I started using this magnetic hammer.

The magnet is pretty strong, so it can pick up several tacks at once.  I spread out a handful of tacks on my workbench and that helped the situation.  

I mostly use 3.5oz or 5oz hand shoe tacks with a tiny burr at the end, which are very easy to get started in the leather with the magnetic end of this hammer.  Using the magnetic end with longer wire nails has been more of a challenge for me, but it may become easier with more practice.
